From Our Patients
Dr. Niezgoda,
No words can express my gratitude for your care and that of your staff at St. Luke's. My Mother was one of your patients. It all happened so fast. I just thank God we had her taken to St. Luke's. She shocked us all with her recovery. She is in a nursing home in New Berlin. The therapy is wonderful. She is walking and has gained some weight. She plans on being home for Thanksgiving. She is a stubborn, proud and independent 80 year old woman. Thank you for using your "gift" to save my mother's leg.

Dr. Niezgoda,
This is just a Thank you to the three of you for all you did for us on Thursday night. We our so grateful that we are all o.k. and very thankful that St. Luke's and your staff was there for us. We have been telling everyone to go out and get a carbon monoxide detector and Taylor's school is putting our story in there newsletter.
Besides being very tired Taylor did very well after we got home. In fact she went to school in the morning for 1/2 of the day. My right ear is still a little sore but other than that we are all doing well.
Thank you Thank you,
The H. Family

Dear Dr. Niezgoda,
A warm note of thanks and appreciation to you for the care of Frank and his open leg wound. Your dismissal of him Monday was a great day for our entire family. Please know and believe your expertise and demeanor were healing in body and spirit.
With gratitude,

Just a note of follow-up and thank you for your kindness and that of your staff during my treatment at St Luke's for acute radiation proctitis. You were gone for a time when my 40th treatment in the Hyperbaric Chamber was completed in late February, so I didn't have a chance for a personal thank
you.
I came in about January 1, 2003 and you thought that a 80-85% recovery was what I could expect. I came back to Florida fully expecting to come back for 20 more Oxygen Therapy sessions.
I am very happy to inform you that I no longer have any more pain in the rectal area, nor any trace of blood. I play 2-3 rounds of golf a week and no longer worry about bleeding during or after a round. I feel great.
Kindest regards - R.L.
