Chamber Information
Multi-Place
In 1964, two multi-place chambers (nicknamed Bonnie and Clyde) were installed at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Today, Bonnie and Clyde remain the only multi-place chambers in the State of Wisconsin.

Bonnie is 9 by 26 foot, double-lock, steel hyperbaric chamber capable of operating a 4ATA (4 times atmospheric pressure). It can accommodate up to 6 patients and a physician, nurse, or other health care professional as an inside attendant.
Clyde is a 8 by 20 foot, double lock, steel hyperbaric chamber, capable of treatment at 7 ATA. Clyde is fully equipped as an intensive care unit. This chamber is usually utilized in the care of emergency patients including diving accidents, smoke inhalational and carbon monoxide victims, and ventilator patients.

Monoplace
HWCA also staffs other hospitals, which provide HBOT utilizing monoplace chambers. These hyperbaric chambers can accommodate one patient per treatment, and there is no inside attendant. Monoplace chambers are pressurized with 100% oxygen and the patient is not required to breathe using a mask.
